Destination Guides
Today, I’m sharing about our trip to Scottsdale, Arizona. It was our first time flying in over 2 years! Scottsdale is a great destination for a long weekend, but you could easily spend 5-6 days here visiting the art galleries and enjoying some of the unique experiences.
True confession, I had never even heard of Blenheim before we started planning our New Zealand itinerary. I knew we planned to visit all of the usual suspects: Mt. Cook, Milford Sound, Queenstown, but Blenheim? Blenheim is essentially in the heart of the Marlborough Region…
When we started planning our trip to New Zealand we assumed we’d do both islands! We had 15 days (not including travel time) to spend and we were going to maximize it! Go big or go home, right? After a few of hours of research we realized this might be a bit aggressive. So we decided to focus on the South Island only and I’m really glad we did!
Lisbon is actually the one of the oldest cities in Western Europe. I don't always enjoy large cities, but Lisbon felt more like several smaller neighborhoods clustered together. While it's definitely growing in popularity quickly, we still had room to breathe and explore this lovely city without it feeling over touristic. It's also really budget friendly compared to many other cities in Western Europe!
Hawaii is my happy place. Just hearing Hawaiian music makes me smile. My husband and I have been the 5 past years and we can't get enough of it. We've spent countless hours reading guidebooks and blog posts to find the best beaches, hikes, fun activities and places to stay! A lot of our friends ask us for our recommendations about Hawaii so I thought it was time to put together a post of our recommendations!
Hawaii: the epitome of paradise. Just thinking about this magical place makes me feel instantly happier! Gorgeous coastlines, laid-back locals and an atmosphere that makes you breathe in a little deeper!
Santa Barbara is a quintessential coastal town of Southern California. The atmosphere feels as if you're relaxing somewhere along the Mediterranean rather than in Southern California.
Athens is the gateway for getting to the Greek Islands. Here's a quick guide for just over 24 hours in Historic Athens!
Cinque Terre or “Five Lands” is in the Northwest region of Italy along the Italian Rivieria. It's a National Park with winding trails through vineyards and along the stunning coast of the Mediterranean. You've definitely seen pictures of the famous colored buildings!
The Amalfi Coast is a 50 km stretch of towns South of Naples nestled in the cliffs. It consists of 13 towns, each with it’s own distinct charm. There is a faint smell of jasmine that invigorates your spirit as you wander the narrow streets of each town.
